My Merry Crafty Christmas...

This past weekend, my plan was to scrapbook, make paper ornaments and have some quiet crafty time. However, the flu bug blew into my classroom this week, taking kids out for 5 days each time and I spent most of Saturday in bed. So, today after a quick after school nap I was determined to start on those Christmas cards...

Using my favorite Basic Grey paper in Figgy Pudding and Melissa Frances Rub Ons...

My favorite one today...a pink button Christmas tree. I bought a whole bag of pink buttons from Joanne's Craft store in the States for $1. I convinced Steve to create one for his parents and he did. A crafty husband!

My Tree Is Up! Reports Cards are Done! What Else Can I Ask For?

I am officially finished writing and editing my reports. Thank God! When I bought all my Christmas decorations last weekend during the crazy sales, I promised that I would only set up the tree when the report cards were done. Well, that lasted all of 2 seconds...the tree definitely came before the reports.

We...well, actually me, decided on a lavender, violet theme for Christmas. Love how the tree turned out!

Celebrating Advent... today is the first Sunday of Advent

Poor Leila has an eye infection and has been relaxing this weekend on my newly covered thrift store find!
