Ready or Not

4 Days to go until my due date and who knows when Baby Girl will arrive. Her room is completely finished (well other than putting her name on the wall...which will remain a secret for now). The Husband's last day of work is today and then he will be home for two glorious months.

My ongoing project of late is this room. How I love decorating with touches of pink! I bought some soft fuzzy fabric and turned it into a change pad cover...

a chair cover (this used to be covered with a bright, furry, red, elmo cover)... and also a little cupcake blanket (seen at the bottom of this post)

The Husband and I also painted this birdy canvas with acrylics.

Home Stuff

We have a long weekend for Canadian thanksgiving and The Husband and I decided to get some stuff done around the house instead of going away. When we purchased our townhouse this past summer our plan was to add pieces and accessories a little at a time, every month. This way we don't break the bank and we can really scour for what we want. Our first priority has been our dining and living area. Still so much I want to do but it's starting to take shape.
